The Alchemist’s Apprentice
Imagine learning alchemy, potion-making and herbalism from a master alchemist. That was my vision for this game. A kernel of an idea that stuck in my head that I grew into this entire game.
In this game, I envisioned the player taking on the role of the new shopkeeper of the town’s alchemist. While he researches fantastic legendary properties of alchemy in his elder years, you manage his apothecary as an apprentice.
This demo showcases a multitude of systems and foundations for any adventure/role playing game, all programmed from scratch by me, including atmospheric world building, an inventory system, dialogue system, questing system, randomly generated loot, and a battling system.
Creating this game has been immensely rewarding and fulfilling while also being challenging. I’ve enjoyed every step of the way, from sharpening up my programming skills to debugging, problem solving, using creativity skills, world building and story telling.

Short gameplay/feature showcase of my biggest and most recent project, a charming 3rd person fantasy game, with elements of alchemy and magic. Everything you see here, I built and programmed. Battling system, dialogue, questing, inventory, UI, etc.
